When you use RigInvoice, we collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, business details, and uploaded documents (Bills of Lading, receipts). We also collect usage data such as pages visited and features used.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and improve the RigInvoice service, including processing BOL documents with AI extraction, generating invoices, and storing your business profile. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Document Storage

Uploaded BOL images and generated invoices are stored securely in encrypted cloud storage (AWS S3). Documents are associated with your account and are only accessible to you.

4. AI Processing

BOL documents are processed by third-party AI services (Google Gemini) for data extraction. Documents are sent securely and are not stored by the AI provider beyond the processing request.

5. Authentication

We use Clerk for authentication services. Your login credentials are managed by Clerk and are subject to their privacy policy. We do not store passwords.

6. Data Retention

Your account data and documents are retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for session management and authentication. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
